KNACK Studio
36 Fifth Avenue, NY, USA

14th of March 2015

Dear Mr. Smith,

It is with great enthusiasm that I saw the opening for an internship at KNACK Studio, a position which perfectly matches my experience, skills and career ambitions.

Your company's culture is all about outstanding, innovative design, and I admire your vision. The projects of your studio are setting standards in the industry (I particularly loved the MOQ project) and I would love to work for your company. Who wouldn’t?

I am currently a fourth semester master student in Product Design Engineering at Glasgow School of Art, Scotland and over the last 7 years, I’ve built my education on one simple principle: Work smarter. I’m the person who looks for inefficient procedures and transform problems into challenging projects through critical thinking, creativity and innovativeness.

My technical knowledge, conceptual and architectural skills, combined with my enthusiasm and creativity make me an asset to the KNACK Studio team. Moreover, my international experience and global mindfulness would be a positive contribution to your organization.

I am thrilled at the possibility of being part of KNACK Studio team  and would love the opportunity to meet with you and discuss the value that I can bring to the organization.

Thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing my materials. I look forward to hearing the good news from you.

Sincerely,
RESUME

Samsung d’light is an interaction based showroom in Seoul’s pulsating Gangnam district. For the recent renovation of the space we came up with digital experiences and a spatial design concept which allows for visitors to get in touch with Samsung solutions.

Multiple rooms and areas feature specific products and related interactions on two floors. The spacious lobby offers the modularity to not only display products, but also host events and workshops. The whole exhibit is connected to a retail store in the basement of the building.

Berlin . Germany

To strengthen Samsung’s role as a leading innovator in the area of the “Internet of Things“, the 6,000sqm exhibition in Berlin was structured around a central, circular IoT gallery. Visitors were given an outlook to their future possibilities with technology.

The product showcases surrounding the IoT area linked the forecast back to already available products and solutions. In addition to the physical space, MDLab and Cheil created a digital tour throughout the space using virtual reality goggles and WebVR technology to bring the experience to a global audience in and outside of Berlin.
